Membership: A family membership includes members of one household and does not include extended family members living in other homes in Tallahassee. A list of current members is kept at the pool and only paid members will be added to the list and allowed access to the facilities. Members must sign the sign-in sheet each visit using their assigned pool numbers. Guests: Members must sign in all guests and pay guest fees. Out of town guests who are visiting at the home of pool members may come as guests with members without paying a guest fee. All other guests may come with a member two times during the summer for a guest fee of $5.00 per person. Guests who are interested in swimming more than twice a season need to apply for membership. Pool Parties: If you are interested in hosting a pool party, ask the lifeguard for a pool party contract. Pool parties may only be held Monday - Saturday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The pool is open to everyone during those hours, but these are the times when the pool is least crowded. The party fee is $50.00, which includes the lifeguard fee, plus $5.00 for each non-member guest. The party fee must be paid at the time of the booking, as additional lifeguards must be hired if there are more than ten expected guests. Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance of the party unless there is a rain out. Swimming Lessons: Swimming lessons will be held from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday - Friday. the pool is closed for regular swimming during these hours. Tennis: Tennis is on a "first come, first served" basis and is available year round. We have a tennis professional teaching lessons several weekday afternoons. His schedule is posted at the courts. Tennis players should email patsycox4@comcast.net for the combination to the gate lock, which will be changed May 1, 2011.
